Blog Tour: The Goode Fight by Seth King

As part of the Blog Tour fro The Goode Fight NA author Seth King ( don't you think he's super Sexy!!) was Kind enough to answer a few questions for us.

CH5: First off. Describe the Goode Fight in 140 characters or less!

SK: Girl falls for boy. Girl discovers boy may be a killer, girl must choose between love and fear. (is that less than 140? oh well, I'm too lazy to count. Lo siento. Next question)

CH5: What made you decide to write NA?

SK: it wasn't a decision at all, actually. I'm 25 and I wanted to write about the crazy ridiculous bizarre amazing world I saw it in front of me, and that just happened to fall under the NA umbrella.

CH5: Are any of the characters in your book based on people you know?

SK: Although I think authors basing characters on themselves is the most obnoxious thing in the world, Stellan is a pretty much a carbon copy of me. Sue me. But I didn't do it on purpose, I swear – it just happened. When writing the book, I was dealing with a lot of different issues, and those issues just sort of spilled onto Stellan. ( Another thing I can't stand? Authors who talk about themselves in the third person. Seth King would never do that.)

CH5: Do you have any must- haves while writing?

SK: Coffee and prayer.

CH5: Can you share anything about what you're currently working on or what's next?

SK: Although I am currently working on the sequel to GOODE FIGHT, it will not be the next book on the Seth King pipeline. My next release will actually be a very sexual novel that is based on a very strange and particular part of my life that I can't wait to share with all twelve of the people who are waiting. (And since that is coming from me, you know it's gonna be really freaking weird.)

CH5: Just for fun: How many selfies do you take before posting the official one?

SK: Let me just start off by saying how appalled I am that you think I take “selfies”

All of my photos on my instagram are taken by a professional photographers. (Okay, I lied. They're all low budget selfies taken in the corner of my living room where the lighting doesn't make me look like Larry King with a bad hangover. But to answer your question, I'd say my Golden Selfie Ratio is 17:1. for every good selfie you come across, there are seventeen more in my phone's camera roll in which I look like the crypt keeper's younger, less attractive, clinically obese brother. You didn't hear that from me.)

Tengo 25 años y yo quería escribir sobre el ridículo mundo increíble, extraño y loco que vi delante de mí, y al parecer cae bajo el paraguas de NA. CH5: ¿Alguno de los personajes de su libro esta basado en gente que conoces? SK: Aunque creo que los autores que basan los personajes en sí mismos es lo más detestable del mundo, Stellan es una copia más o menos carbon de mí. Demandame. Pero yo no lo hice a propósito, lo juro - solo paso. Al escribir el libro, estaba pasando por un montón de diferentes situaciones, y esas situaciones se derraman sobre Stellan. (Otra cosa que no puede soportar? Los autores que hablan de sí mismos en tercera persona. Seth King nunca haría eso.)

CH 5: ¿Que debes tener al escribir? SK: El café y oración. CH5: ¿Puedes compartir de lo que se está trabajando en o ¿qué sigue? SK: A pesar de que actualmente estoy trabajando en la secuela de THE GOODE FIGHT, este no va a ser el próximo libro bajo la firma de Seth King. Mi próxima versión será en realidad una novela muy sexual que se basa en una parte muy extraña y particular de mi vida que no puedo esperar para compartir con todas las doce d personas que están esperando. (Y ya que viene de mí, saben que va a ser realmente loco y extraño.) CH5: Sólo por diversión: ¿Cuántos selfies te tomas antes de publicar la oficial? SK: Permítanme empezar diciendo que estoy consternado de que ustedes piensen que me tomo "selfies" Todas mis fotos en mi Instagram se toman por los fotógrafos profesionales. (Bueno, mentí. Son selfies de presupuesto bajo, tomadas en la esquina de mi sala de estar, donde la iluminación no me hace quedar como Larry King con una mala resaca. Pero para responder a tu pregunta, yo diría que mi porcentaje es 17:. 1 para toda buena Selfie que te encuentras, hay diecisiete más en la galeria de la cámara de mi teléfono en el que me parezco más joven menos atractivo y hermano del arquero cripta, clínicamente obesos usted no oye eso de mí.. ) Gracias por invitarme, HONDURAS!
